Waste to Wonder/ Seven Wonders Park New Delhi is among those places that inspire people. See, India is a big country with big issues, and one of the biggest issues is waste pollution.
Storing all that gunk at a particular place eventually does not help. So, what we do is recycle them. But have you ever thought of making art with waste? Yes, this park is about waste recycling.
The reason behind it being named seven wonders park is that the miniature version of the seven wonders of the world is made from different kinds of waste here.
Nope! It is not something ordinary. Artists were called from Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, and many different places to build Waste to Wonder/ Seven Wonders Park.
I loved the concept. Yes, the Taj Mahal was not white, but the way it was built was amazing. There was a very subtle difference between the original. It felt like someone had used Doraemon’s small light and made them smaller.
I went with my parents, and my experience was mind-blowing there. My parents saw the wonders that might not have been possible to see for real. That being said, let’s see what you just cannot miss.
Statue of Liberty
I loved the miniature Statue of Liberty. You might not know that the Statue of liberty had a copper color before it was painted. It looked like that only. Yes, the waste it was built from was visible, but it looked amazing.
You know what, I think it looked more beautiful because of this.
The Colosseum of Rome
Oh my god! It was the most beautiful one there. I would recommend that before going, you just see a picture of the real one and then see this. We all know that the actual one is broken or damaged, we can say.
All the details were maintained in this miniature. I imagined myself being small and visiting the Colosseum of Rome here.
Eiffel Tower
I know almost all the cities have a miniature Eiffel tower, but this one here is exceptional. No artificial lights, just real artistry. I know that you want to go to Paris and see the Eiffel tower, but unless you make it, try this out.
There are other wonders to see too, But these are my personal favorites. Just one request, keep the real Taj Mahal, Eiffel Tower, or all the wonders in mind. Only then you will be able to know how fine the artwork is.
Ending Words
Oh! I forgot to tell you, even the washrooms and the entry gate are made of waste material. I know, it’s amazing! So, what are you waiting for? Grab your favorite outfit from Sarojini Nagar and get ready for a photoshoot.
The place stays open from 11 am to 11 pm. So you don’t have to worry about waking up early or coming back early. Enjoy as much as you want to. On Mondays, it stays closed!
