Patriotic Spirit Shines During 'Tiranga Yatra' in Chandni Chowk

On Monday, the historic streets of Chandni Chowk lit up with patriotic fervor as the Virat Tiranga Yatra took place. BJP MP Praveen Khandelwal led the procession through the heart of Old Delhi.

The yatra began at the Red Fort and passed through the bustling market before ending at Fatehpuri. Moreover, people from different walks of life joined — women, youth, workers, and traders. The market soon turned into a sea of tricolors, with flags on shopfronts, rooftops, and street corners. In addition, drums, bands, shehnais, and trumpets filled the air with festive sounds.

Local market associations and Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs) also joined actively. They lined the route and showered flowers on participants. Furthermore, patriotic slogans echoed in every street. Cries of “Har Gali – Har Mohalla, Har Dil Mein Tiranga Laharaye” and “Tiranga Aan Bharat Ki – Tiranga Shaan Bharat Ki” created a mood of pride and unity.

Khandelwal said the yatra reflected deep respect and unwavering commitment to the national flag. He also connected it to the campaign “Bharatiya Samaan – Hamara Swabhiman.” This initiative, therefore, urges people to support Indian-made products to build self-reliance and strengthen the economy.

He praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his bold decisions and effective leadership. In addition, Khandelwal emphasized the role of traders in boosting manufacturing and helping the economy grow. Promoting indigenous products, he added, is not only about pride but also about creating jobs.

The Tiranga Yatra in Chandni Chowk, meanwhile, mirrors similar rallies across the country. These celebrations, therefore, bring communities together ahead of Independence Day and highlight shared national pride. Chandni Chowk’s historic role as a Mughal-era trading hub, moreover, added weight to the event.

The parade was more than a show of flags. Indeed, it was a heartfelt expression of love for the nation. People stood united in a mission of respect and pride for India. As the yatra ended, the patriotic spirit stayed alive, and thus it reminded everyone of the strength and unity that bind the nation.
