The case of panic sparks in Mahipalpur after loud noise worried many residents on Thursday morning when they heard a sound similar to an explosion. This happened only days after the deadly Red Fort blast that killed 13 people, so people feared another attack. Because of this fear, several locals quickly contacted the authorities.
Moreover, the Delhi Fire Services received a call at 9:19 am about the loud noise near the Radisson Hotel. Three fire tenders rushed to the spot, and Delhi Police also arrived to secure the area. Soon after, bomb disposal teams joined the investigation to make sure nothing dangerous was present.
Additionally, officers spoke with the caller who reported the noise. He said he heard it while traveling toward Gurugram. Deputy Commissioner of Police Amit Goel explained that the teams checked the entire area carefully. He assured residents that nothing suspicious was found.
Furthermore, a security guard later told police that the noise came from the rear tire of a DTC bus. The tire had burst while the bus was moving toward Dhaula Kuan. Once officials confirmed this, they declared the area safe again and told residents there was no threat.

The Union government called it a terrorist attack and asked the National Investigation Agency (NIA) to handle the probe.
