Apple is preparing a major expansion in India with the launch of the iPhone 17 and two new Apple Stores. The company will soon open outlets in Bengaluru and Pune, adding to its existing stores in Mumbai and Delhi.
The first store, Apple Hebbal, opens on September 2, 2025, at the Phoenix Mall of Asia in Bengaluru. Spread over 10,000 square feet, it will feature the full range of Apple products—iPhones, Macs, iPads, and AirPods. Customers will also find expert support and “Today at Apple” sessions. To celebrate the opening, Apple has decorated the entrance with a colorful barricade of peacock feathers, honoring India’s national bird and culture.
Soon after, Apple will launch its Pune store at KOPA Mall in Koregaon Park. This location will be the company’s first outlet in Maharashtra outside Mumbai.
These openings align with the arrival of the iPhone 17 in India. Apple has already increased local production. Foxconn is assembling the iPhone 17 in Bengaluru, while a Tata Group-backed facility will produce the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max. This shift highlights India’s growing role in Apple’s global supply chain.
For customers, the new stores will provide a chance to see and test Apple products before buying. They can also get advice and support directly from trained staff.
Apple’s first two stores in Mumbai and Delhi, launched two years ago, drew large crowds and boosted sales. Encouraged by this success, the company is now expanding further. With India’s massive mobile market, Apple sees strong growth potential.
The arrival of the iPhone 17 and the opening of these new stores are expected to attract huge interest. Apple is not just offering products—it is creating an experience that combines technology with culture. As it grows in India, Apple is shaping the future of retail and technology in the country.
