MG India launched the updated MG Hector facelift with attractive pricing starting at Rs 11.99 lakh (ex-showroom, introductory). Notably, this represents a Rs 2.1 lakh price reduction compared to the outgoing model. Bookings started immediately after the launch announcement.
The 7-seater Hector Plus lineup begins at Rs 17.29 lakh. Currently, MG announced prices only for petrol variants. Meanwhile, diesel model pricing will be revealed next year.

Exterior Updates
The redesigned front grille features new honeycomb-like slats. So, these replace the previous diamond-shaped patterns. Additionally, MG revised the air dam design below the grille. The 18-inch alloy wheels showcase a fresh design.
However, the lighting elements remain unchanged. The split headlamp setup continues, along with LED strips connecting the taillamps. Furthermore, the rear bumper received minor updates.

However, MG introduced iSwipe touch gesture control technology. So, this innovative system works through the 14-inch portrait touchscreen. Two-finger gestures control climate settings, while three-finger gestures adjust audio controls.

Diesel Option Coming Soon
The diesel variant will feature a 2.0-litre engine. This motor generates 170 horsepower and 350Nm torque. Previously, diesel models came only with manual transmission. However, MG might introduce an automatic option this time.
