Kingdom of Dreams Delhi: Is it Worth a Visit?

Posted on March 2, 2023

How many of you love fusion places like Kingdom of dreams? I know, it is in Gurgaon, not in Delhi, but guys! Come on! You cannot stop me from visiting places.

I was tired and wanted to spend my time at a place that was not too artistic or not too boring. Somewhere in the middle, you know. Moreover, I was also looking for good food to try during my visit because I hate interrupting my visit to find restaurants and eat.

But the Kingdom of dreams has it all. So I didn’t have to go anywhere. I spent my entire day there eating, watching shows, shopping, etc.

To be very honest, It didn’t feel like I wasn’t in Delhi. The ambiance was super cool, and it had all the elements of Delhi.

At some point, it felt like I’m visiting a historical place, at some point in the Sarojini nagar market, and at some point, I’m in the theater.

Overall, the fusion that I’m talking about is really good. Though some of my colleagues said that the place wasn’t good one year ago, when I visited, there was a lot of improvement.

However, I found the prices to be a little bit higher. So, I just went on with the cultural gully tickets.

Hold on! I’m going to tell you everything about this place. No worries. Just keep reading!

Ticket Prices, Visiting Times & More

Honestly, I didn’t like the price. I am an artistic person. So, I just bought the ticket for the cultural gully. But if you want to visit other places, you need to get the diamond or the platinum ticket.

They range from 1500 to 2500. I found that pretty unreasonable. Yes, there is no doubt that the place is beautiful, but the tickets can be a little less expensive.

Rashtrapati Bhavan charges 30 rupees to visit. And here is this place. Well, these are two different places, and I should not compare them.

I would highly recommend the theatre show. It will just touch your heart. The cultural gully is a small version of Indian culture. Fully diverse and exciting.

I did bargaining too! Hehe. Typical Indian, you know. Kingdom of dreams stays closed on Mondays. In addition, don’t visit the place on weekends. It becomes crowded. So, plan your trip on weekdays only. It’s better that way.

Final Words

Talking about cultural things reminds me of Shankar’s International Dolls Museum. The dolls were so cute and historical. This museum had dolls from all around the world. I brought my niece, and she was so happy to see them.

It does not matter whether it’s Bhangarh or Humayun’s Tomb, the scent of history stays there. Newer places like this are enabling the city people to have a state of these on weekends.

If you are looking for not something too historical and a place where you can have like-minded fun, this place is the best match for you. Bring your partner too!
