The inspection of Ladakh Bhawan Kargil Wing by CEC Kargil on October 15 marked a key milestone for Kargil residents in New Delhi. Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor (CEC) of LAHDC Kargil, Dr. Mohammad Jaffer Akhoon, visited the site to check construction progress and review ongoing work.

The Ladakh Bhawan stands at Plot No. HAF-2, Sector 18A, Dwarka Phase II, opposite Engineers Apartment. Once complete, it will serve as a central hub for people from Kargil visiting the capital. It will provide administrative help and residential space, making travel and official work easier.

Dr. Akhoon did not visit alone. He was joined by senior officials, including the Superintendent Engineer, Executive Engineer, and Assistant Engineers (Civil and Electrical) from the CPWD. An Assistant Engineer from PWD (R&B) Kargil and the project contractor were also part of the team. Their involvement helped ensure that every detail was properly reviewed.

During the visit, Dr. Akhoon inspected the quality and speed of the work. He expressed satisfaction but urged the team to maintain government standards and finish the project on time. Officials said construction had entered its final phase. They aim to complete it by December 15, 2025. This deadline shows the administration’s strong commitment to the people of Kargil.

Dr. Akhoon explained that once operational, the Ladakh Bhawan will play a crucial role. So, it will offer a convenient space for residents to stay and handle official tasks in Delhi. The facility will also strengthen cultural and administrative ties between Kargil and the national capital.

Officials added that such infrastructure projects go far beyond simple construction. They represent progress, public support, and the government’s dedication to community needs. Improved infrastructure will help citizens access services easily, speed up administrative work, and provide safe spaces for visitors.

Dr. Akhoon stressed that projects like this show proactive governance by the Ladakh administration and LAHDC Kargil. By focusing on infrastructure and connectivity, they aim to improve the quality of life for their people.

The Ladakh Bhawan project reflects a broader vision, bringing Kargil closer to the capital while providing modern facilities. So, as the completion date approaches, authorities remain focused on delivering a high-quality building that meets long-term needs.

In conclusion, the inspection of Ladakh Bhawan Kargil Wing by CEC Kargil shows the government’s strong resolve to deliver quality infrastructure on time. Once completed, the building will stand as a symbol of pride for Kargil and a vital support center for its residents in New Delhi.
