India Air Travel Number Soar Doubling from11 to 25 Crore by 2025

New Delhi, September 18, 2023: The India Air travel number soar has become a reality. In 2014, around 11 crore people traveled by air. By 2025, this figure is expected to touch 25 crore, according to Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu. This rapid increase shows how quickly the aviation sector is growing and becoming a part of daily life for more Indians.

One of the best examples of this growth is Hindon Airport. In 2020, it had just one flight. Today, it connects travelers to 16 different cities. This shows how regional airports are becoming stronger and helping more people fly.

During the launch of Yatri Sewa Diwas 2025 at Hindon Airport, Minister Naidu explained why this day matters. He said the government wants every passenger to feel respected and cared for. Air travel should not stay limited to the rich but should be for every Indian.

Naidu also praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying his 11 years of leadership changed the way the government serves people. This inspiration has guided the aviation sector to put every passenger first. The minister noted that “every journey is an opportunity to serve with dedication.”

The event also promoted the slogan “Passenger First,” which matches the Prime Minister’s vision of “Nation First.” According to Naidu, the government wants flying to feel easier, more comfortable, and more affordable for all.

A big reason behind this change is the UDAN scheme. It has improved regional connectivity and reduced the cost of flying. This program brought flights to many smaller cities and towns, allowing families, businesses, and students to connect faster.

Naidu also shared good news for travelers. Soon, all airports in India will have Wi-Fi services under the Digital India Mission. This will make journeys more enjoyable and connected. Passengers will be able to use digital services during their wait time at airports.

Looking ahead, the minister spoke about the vision of Viksit Bharat (Developed India). He said aviation plays an important role in this journey. He also urged travelers to support local products and services, which would further help the economy grow.

The rise in air travel has also made it easier for families and friends across different cities to meet more often. It has boosted tourism, trade, and job opportunities. Aviation experts say India is now one of the fastest-growing air travel markets in the world.

In summary, India’s aviation story is one of expansion and opportunity. With more flights, better airports, and digital services, flying has become a choice for more Indians every year. This transformation proves how the India Air travel number soar reflects both economic progress and a stronger commitment to passengers.
