iQOO 15 Launch in India

Chinese smartphone manufacturer iQOO today completed its iQOO 15 launch in India, bringing the flagship device to the market after its successful debut in China last month. Moreover, the company has priced the phone competitively while packing impressive specifications that target performance enthusiasts and gamers.

The iQOO 15 comes in two storage variants in India. The 12GB RAM with 256GB storage model costs Rs 64,999, while the 16GB RAM with 512GB storage variant carries a price tag of Rs 71,999. Additionally, iQOO announced attractive launch offers including up to Rs 7,000 discount, Rs 7,000 exchange bonus, and an extra Rs 1,000 coupon discount.

Priority Pass users can purchase the phone starting November 27, while open sales begin December 1. Furthermore, the device will be available through iQOO’s official website, Amazon.in, vivo exclusive stores, and various offline retailers across the country.

The smartphone features India’s first Samsung 2K M14 LEAD OLED display measuring 6.85 inches. The screen supports a 144Hz refresh rate with LTPO technology for smooth scrolling. Additionally, it delivers 6,000 nits peak brightness and includes Dolby Vision support for enhanced viewing experiences.

The display also incorporates an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner for secure authentication. Meanwhile, a punch-hole cutout houses the 32MP selfie camera. The phone comes in two color options for India: Legend and Alpha variants.

Powerful Performance Features

At its core, the iQOO 15 runs on Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. This makes it one of India’s fastest smartphones currently available. Moreover, the device includes a Supercomputing Chip Q3 specifically designed to enhance gaming performance and deliver 144fps gameplay.

The phone also features the largest single-layer VC cooling system, which keeps temperatures low during extended gaming sessions. Consequently, users can enjoy sustained performance without thermal throttling.

Software and Updates: The iQOO 15 boots Android 16-based OriginOS 6, making it the first smartphone in India to run OriginOS out of the box. The interface features round app icons similar to Apple’s design language. Additionally, it includes innovative features like Atomic Island for live alerts and notifications.

Impressively, iQOO promises five major Android OS upgrades and seven years of security updates. This commitment ensures long-term software support for buyers.

Camera System: The rear camera setup includes three 50MP sensors covering different photography needs. The primary sensor handles standard shots, while the ultrawide lens captures broader scenes. Furthermore, the periscope telephoto camera enables quality zoom photography. All three cameras use Sony sensors for consistent image quality.

Battery and Charging: Perhaps the most impressive feature is the massive 7,000mAh battery capacity. This ensures all-day usage even with heavy use. Moreover, the phone supports 100W FlashCharge wired charging that can fully charge the device within minutes. Additionally, it offers 40W wireless charging support for added convenience.

Additional Features: The device includes stereo speakers for immersive audio, NFC for contactless payments, and an IR blaster for controlling home appliances. It also supports eSIM functionality. Furthermore, the phone carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. The rear camera island features Monster Halo lights that add visual flair.

The iQOO 15 launch marks a significant milestone as the brand positions itself strongly in India’s premium smartphone segment with cutting-edge technology and competitive pricing.
