Sarvesh Kumar, the officer in charge of Wave City police station, explained the details. The woman suffered a serious head injury caused by a belan, a rolling pin. She also had deep marks on her neck. Doctors confirmed that strangulation caused her death. Broken bangles on the floor showed that she tried to fight back during the attack.

Officers later found a handwritten note in the room. Although some lines were unclear, the man accused his younger brother and the brother’s wife of being unfaithful. Priyashri Pal, Assistant Commissioner of Police for Wave City Circle, said the team is still trying to understand what pushed him to write these claims.

Police informed both families soon after the discovery. They now await a formal complaint from them so they can register an FIR and begin the legal process. Investigators also completed the autopsies to collect more evidence and move the case forward.
