Shooters Linked to Disha Patani Firing Killed in Ghaziabad

On September 17, in Ghaziabad near Delhi, police shot down two criminals in a major encounter. The men, identified as Ravinder and Arun, were shooters linked to Disha Patani firing killed. Police confirmed they belonged to the Rohit Godara-Goldy Barar gang, which runs organized crime across Haryana and Punjab.

The encounter followed a joint operation by the Delhi Police Special Cell, Uttar Pradesh STF, and Haryana STF. Together, they tracked the shooters to Tronica City in Ghaziabad. When the police moved in, the two men opened fire. Officers retaliated and shot both in the crossfire. They rushed them to a hospital, but the criminals died from their injuries.

The case drew attention because of its link to the September 12 firing outside actress Disha Patani’s house in Bareilly. The shooting happened at around 3:45 AM and shocked residents. Investigators believe the attack aimed to intimidate or extort, as gangs often target celebrities to spread fear.

Right after the Bareilly incident, police registered a case at the Kotwali police station. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath promised strict action and repeated his government’s zero-tolerance approach to crime. Law enforcement officers reviewed CCTV footage, collected intelligence, and identified the shooters.

Ravinder, from Rohtak, and Arun, from Sonipat, already faced several criminal cases in Haryana and nearby states. Investigators said their gang expanded its network across Punjab, Haryana, and Delhi, making it harder for state police to control them.

Police seized a Glock pistol, a Zigana pistol, and many cartridges from the encounter site. These weapons showed that the gang stayed well-armed and ready for violence. Officers warned that such gangs often use advanced firearms, which makes encounters risky for both the police and the public.

Organized crime has been rising in Punjab and Haryana, with gangs often clashing or targeting high-profile figures. These crimes forced authorities to raise security for celebrities, politicians, and businessmen. Experts point out that criminal groups exploit rapid urban growth and poor coordination between states.

However, the public has grown more worried about safety as gang violence spreads. Local communities now demand tougher action and stronger policing to keep their neighborhoods secure. So, police officials explained that they are sharing intelligence across states to close the gaps that gangs use.

The deaths of Ravinder and Arun mark an important step in the crackdown against the Rohit Godara-Goldy Barar gang. However, officers continue the search for other members still on the run. Authorities have promised they will keep up the pressure until they capture every criminal.

However, this latest development shows that law enforcement stays firm in fighting organized crime. The encounter proves that even powerful gangs cannot escape justice. So, the story of these shooters linked to Disha Patani firing killed the threat of gang violence while also sending a strong message of accountability.
